Fabulous Finds Fridays
Hello to my amazing readers!
Its Friday! Yippeee, well sorta... If your a Mom like me you know
that doesn't mean you get to sleep in or have a day "off."
But it does mean more relaxing time with the hubs and kids.
Before I get to sharing some lovely craft ideas I've found let me
say that I have been blogging now for about 2 months and
I've just started getting some subscribers and that makes me so excited!
I have so much still to learn and share but I'm so thankful for my readers like you!
This weeks Fabulous Finds are based on some great ideas I've found through fellow bloggers. The theme behind this idea is to give you all some craft projects to keep your kids busy now that summer is here. In fact I have so many to share I'm going to make this a 3 part series.

1. Butterfly Kid's Project by Hello Sprout
My readers all know by now I am
a huge paper anything crafter,
so I'm always excited to share other folks ideas I find!
This stain glass butterfly project looks like a great
way to craft away a rainy day.
Hello Sprout sells kits to make them! Super easy.
Descriptive quote- "This cool kids activity brings nature inside. It's awesome to watch the kids hang up their shapes and see the sun "shine up" the colors. Kids of all ages will enjoy this craft, as well as adults."
2. DIY Glitter Vinyl tube Bracelet by A Pumpkin and a Princess
Who remember these from elementary school? I always thought they were super cool. I never thought it would be possible to DIY one but A Pumpkin and a Princess makes it easier then you think!
I can't wait till my daughter is a little older and I can start making more crafts like these with her. Hect, even I want one. Maybe there could be some other creative things to put inside a bracelet like this?
Descriptive quote from A Pumpkin and a Princess
"Hey crafty friends! I have a throwback craft project for you today. Do you remember the vinyl tube bracelets from the 90s? Possibly 80s? You guys, I used to LOVE these sparkly bracelets as a kid. I think that’s the best thing about having a girl..I get to share with her some of my childhood favorites. Since summer vacation began I’ve been determined to introduce her to some of my favorite childhood crafts, toys, and of course clothing (with 90s attire being all the rage right now). Last week we made these glitter vinyl tube bracelets and I couldn’t help remaninsnce back to when they were my favorite accessory. This vinyl tube bracelet tutorial is the perfect summer activity for girls of all ages."
3. 3D Paper masks by Happy Thought
I personally have loved creating some photo prop masks with my graphic software. I think this was is such a great idea particularly because it is designed to be 3D!
Descriptive quote from Happy Thought
"Meow! We’ve put together another mask for you to dress up in on Day of the Dead this year. This Cat Calavera (Sugar Skull) mask is fun & easy to make, perfect for a last minute costume!"
4. Paint Rock Garden by Nellie Bellie
Kids of all ages are going to love this craft.
I never imagined a rock could create so much fun and cuteness. Nellie Bellie has a full tutorial and supply list. I think I would love to give the caterpillar some friends like a lady bug and butterfly if I could find the right stone shapes.
Descriptive quote from Nellie Bellie
"Nature was where we often searched for treasures like rocks, sticks, pinecones, and more. Activities that involve using nature’s finds for creating are brilliant for keeping kids busy. Not only do spend time crafting but they also spend time outdoors finding items"

5.Fairy Houses by Crafts by Amanda
These fairy house crafts are wonderful for two reasons. First, they are adorbs! And second they are a great way to recycle! If you want to recycle a bunch at a time maybe use this idea as a project to make at your child's fairy themed party!
Descriptive quote from Crafts by Amanda
"How much do your kids really know about recycling? Before I show you how to make these cute fairy house night lights, let’s talk about teaching kids to recycle. I know when I was growing up it wasn’t a big part of our daily lives like it is today. Kids learn about recycling at home and in school, but it’s up to us to keep the momentum going."
