DIY Valentine's Day Confetti Card

Easy Valentines Day Card

I had an itch to create some type of fun Valentine's card this week.

Something that would be easy to make, but looks like a million bucks. Well, that's at least what it feels like I spend when I buy cards from a store!

If you are looking for something even easier check out the post from earlier this week with 15 free mini Valentine's printables!

I have a full length video below showing you just how it's done plus freebie templates to help you create it!
I provide a .svg for those who have a cutting machine and a .pdf for those who do not. (Scroll to bottom for templates.)

If you don't have a cutting machine I recommend using the card .pdf that doesn't have the heart cut out and instead buying a heart punch from a craft store which will do the job in place of the machine
You  will also need a mini heart punch for the confetti or you can come up with your own version using whatever punches you might have on hand.

Valentines Day Free Printable Tags

Free Valentines Printables

Free cute Valentines Day printable cards.

Hello Lovelies!
I know my posts and emails haven't been quite as regular. I'm really maxed out these days getting ready for my book launch in a couple months.

I will probably only be posting 2x a month for awhile, but I'm going to try for 3.

The benefit for you is a lot more freebies!

Freebie posts are easier for me to write and faster to share so I'll be relying on sending more goodies your way to attempt to still keep some balance in the "force" and not completely neglecting my blog and my readers that I love!

Personal use only please.

That being said here is your freebie this week! 15 Valentines printable cards for your special someone.

I had a lot of fun designing these!

Don't forget to pin and save for later!

The Art of Paper Dahlias

DIY paper dahlia flowers.

How to make paper dahlias. Step by step paper flower tutorials and templates.

Happy New Year to my awesome readers!

I'm welcoming the new year with lots of new designs and projects. I finally found a few minutes (okay, let's be real..forced myself) to sit down and write a long over due blog post!

I have already kicked the year off with many new ideas such as camellia flowers, new roses, tulip peonies, angel cheek peonies and even have started a new exciting project about building paper dresses! Plus I have received requests to use my paper flowers in "styled stock photos" for small business use!

Sneak peak of the dress project..

And a peak at some styled photo shots..

And finally a sneak peak at some more new flower designs coming out soon!

All these exciting concepts will arrive in your email box over the next 3 months. Plus some FREEBIES, like templates and stock photos!

Among the numerous designs I already named, I am also continuing to write my first of a 3 part series ebook to be released in the Spring (with a lot of prayers, sweat, blood and tears!)

Needless to say you can figure out my plate isn't just full but overflowing.
And I really shouldn't have had all those extra cookies and pie at the holidays because this crafty Mom needs some extra workout time!
I'm also in the middle of designing many book proposals to send out to several publishers in hope of getting my books in print in 2018.
Keep your fingers crossed and say a prayer that I can "wow" them enough to get a publishing deal!

While I'm juggling that I still want to make time to keep up with my much appreciated readers!

So with that, let's get to today's new flower.
Introducing the Ruffle Dahlia...

I first created a dahlia only a few months into designing flowers when I started almost 7 years ago.

My original (and still very popular) dahlia template.
Something about this template is so fun to make!

Find this template here:

The original video which has over 4k views! Yay!

So when the new year dawned I decided a new dahlia had to come with it.
